Sick of U – Soph Retief – REVIEW

Soph Retief is a new artist to look out for and she proves that with her fabulous new single ‘Sick of U’. The track has a very melodic and up to date dreamy lo-fi tropical tinged production, but the real beauty lies in Soph Retief’s powerful, soulful, melodic and unique vocal. Soph Retief doesn’t sound like anyone else but her vocal style comes from great influences and she belts out some amazing cover versions on her Youtube channel. Starting with dreamy synth pads and piano’s building to sleek beats, this track has a euphoric meets melancholy feel that touches you and speaks directly to the heart – 9/10
