J2 Releases New single ‘Addicted To The Party Life’ Feat Rarri.
Earlier this year J2, released his greatest compilation of re-imagined hits to date, “The Iconic Series Vol. 8“. Right at the get go, the lead single, “New Divide”, was used in the official global film trailer for Alita: Battle Angel.
Not only did this become the number one film globally in it’s first week, the trailer alone racked up over 17 million views. Hot off the trail of his last release, J2 is following up with a new single, “Addicted To The Party Life” featuring the vocal premiere of Rarri.
“Addicted To The Party Life” is the first single off of Synth Wave Part 1. This will be J2’s blitz into bringing driving futuristic new wave elements into the present. Inviting comparison with early M83 mixed with The Weeknd’s ‘Starboy’ and New wave 80s elements blending with R&B vocals.
This new release is a glimpse of what’s to come by J2 this year.
His production work is done with intention and it shows in his work. He spent two years creating Synth Wave Part 1 and Part 2. His star is rising as an artist and a producer as he continues to make music that is powerful and accessible for his fans and the film community.
Synth Wave Part 1 and Part 2 is a new blend of J2. Starting with ‘Addicted to the Party Life’ to be released August 30th, each single will deliver a distinct standout flavour.
The full album drops September 20th through J2 Entertainment & AWAL.
